研究主題：1.
Goto
博士在星系演化與高紅移星系的研究上有許多重要成果。他有關星系團中星系形態與星系密度關聯的論文被引用兩百多次，另外他的研究成果也多次被其任職單位特別召開記者會發表。從2003年至2012年底，他已在主要的國際天文期刊發表了74篇論文，其中29篇為第一作者，被引用次數為3635次。他已在國際間具有相當的知名度。
